Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery is located in Carson, and recently had a sudden closure leaving many constituents worried about what would happen to their loved ones that were buried there. The cemetery is part of Assemblymember Gipson's office, so our office has been working hard with the city, state, and government organizations to re-open the cemetery. As an intern, I answered many people's call regarding what would happen and what they could do in order to visit their loved ones. One lady who called me told me that she was extremely concerned because her whole family was buried there and because she thought she would never be able to visit them again.
