Assemblymember Gipson recently hosted a march in Watts to spread the word about gun violence. This event was specifically designed towards mothers who have lost their child in a hit-and-run or shooting. It was aimed at spreading awareness through the power of mothers to the issue of gun violence, decreasing gun violence in the communities around the march. I helped with sending thank you letters to all of the organizations, speakers, and attendees at the event. It was amazing how hundreds of people came out to rally for the safety of our future generations.
